The rack brackets are not installed as shipped so if you don't want to mount is it will work well for a regular home stereo. Pyle's bright blue LED's are sometimes a bit overpowering but hey, It's lit up like a christmas tree. The Vacuum Flourescent Display is pretty nice looking.
